I've got the engine. This ad is just for a Ford C3 auto box mated to the series transfer box. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there with the same auto conversion.

People driving series's with prosthetic legs? ;-)
Can't be many of them around! - and even fewer V6 auto conversions!

Anybody know much about it? Was it built by Steve Parker who did the conversion plate for the V6 onto a series box?
One on ebay.........

Thanks for the reply.
After the original posting I did some more digging but left out the LR part number on my searches.
It appears that Ashcroft make a similar unit now for £300 and then I read an article on them on another forum which seemed to rate them in high regard.
There's not much...

Has anyone had any dealings with one and are they any good? Would I put it in the front or rear axle.
Its part number is FTC -0114 but there's very little on the net about them.
I got offered it by a friend whose had it in his shed for years. Its never been fitted and is brand new...

I may have found one locally but will keep you in mind should it fall through.

Yea I will, as I've failed to find anything on it anywhere!

I appreciate your concerns and yea it could have a bit of chequer plate rivoted over them to stop the leaks but unfortunatly its for an original resto of an early disco, not a mud plugger and it needs to be right - not bodged.
To be fair it's no more work than some of the rot boxes on here...

I want to remove the sunroofs on my D1 but want to keep the vehicle original so am looking for a complete roof without sunroofs that I can use to weld on mine. I would prefer it to be cut off half way down pillars so I can decide which way to go when welding it on.
Can come and cut it off myself...

My disco is a 1989 200 tdi. The roofs are original but might as well be aftermarket as the fit of the glass is rubbish. The curve of the glass front to back is greater than the curve of the roof so it pulls tight down on the seal front and back but the sides don't really touch the seal all the...

Has anyone got a complete roof without sunroofs they wish to sell me?

I'm trying to keep my early disco 1 as original as possible and don't want to just rivot a bit of chequer plate on it.
I've tried new seals and it made no difference. Waste of £30 basically. I've even tried siliconing them shut but they still leaked.
My mate just patched a 964 Porsche for a...
