Thanks for this and the advice around the fuel filter. The motor is running on the window and it goes up if you push the window to the open side of the door. Thanks for all your help. You may be right as my son only bought the car in Bristol and drove it back to Cardiff area with no problems so may be the code has nothing to do with the lack of power speed that had happened twice at around 65mph. He's a bit gutted as he used all cash to buy the car...

All done. Managed to put a small screw onto the snapped Map sensor and pull it out which allowed me to swap mine over to the other manifold. Also managed to remove the last broken bolt with a pair of mole grips and fitted the new manifold...... With no broken bolts! At the same time managed to...

Thanks for reply both. Wasn't sure what the sensor was but will check tomorrow as Nodge68 you are right if possible it would be easier to fit the other manifold if possible.

Cheers Alibro, think I've learnt my lesson now! Any ideas on how to take the bolts out of the manifold, I presume it's brute force but best to check after snapping them in the first place. In my defence the first ones snapped a while ago whist undoing the bolts in the first place.

Hi Nidge68, I ve learnt my lesson now but the bolts must be very brittle as not much pressure applied this time but still snapped two, less pressure next time. Thanks for your suggestion on using the other manifold but it looks like the sensor on the side has snapped off and looking quite rough...

Hi thanks for all your help on my previous issues with my TD4. Just wondering if I could pick your brains again. Looks like the Aux belt has snapped and looks like a bigger job than I could handle. With belt snapped can a drive it a few miles to get to the garage or is it a tow truck job?
