    Thanks for all the advice on the overheating. Have hit most of the ideas already but it was really the exhaust I was wondering about as going to maybe order a complete new one from UK and hoped to get it right first time, getting stuff into Spain is hard enough without having to return it

    Thanks, have flushed out, both forward, backwards and sidewards even. Hoses replaced, not got a new thermostat yet as need to order from UK but it's not a gauge thing, it is getting hotter as I climb.not losing water so head gasket not gone.     The land rover is running cold at the moment, flushed the rad out a few times and it was very black. We have a 5 mile climb in 3 rd all the way, starts the climb nearly on cold and gets to near the red by the time we get to the top, plateau for a mile to our home and it's cold again by the time...
