Hi All....Problem cured I think... changed the fuel filter and replaced one of the brass pipes coming off the housing that had a perished rubber o ring in it .... seems ok now.

Thanks all for the replies my mate did it for me in the end using paint thinners and a plastic scraper. New strip is back on now.:)

Tried both petrol and nail varnish remover and neither is getting it to shift properly and also parafin....only clears it off when there is a very thin residue left and then only with a lot of rubbing.:(

Hi All.... I'm in the process of replacing the rubber door strip on the drivers door of my Td5... I have got the old one off but it has left a lot of the double sided fixing tape on the door. Has anyone got a easy way of getting it of other than spending hours peeling it off with my finger...

Hi All.... Wife tried starting disco today after been out in it earlier but it wouldn't start she said it was turning over but not starting and a couple of lights were coming on and flashing and it was bleeping from the dash. Had a go myself when I got home and on my first attempt it turned over...

I can't believe no one would make these mounting brackets...There are loads of bull bars/nudge bars/a frames on Ebay but looking at them none have the mounting brackets with them.
