Be careful when changing the glow plugs, they can be seized, one of mine snapped and I had to drill it out!

Thanks Artic, yeah didn't remove it. Mines done nearly 160,000 and I'm pretty sure it's never been done so it's a bit over due 😅

Didn't know that! Thanks grumpy will maybe just order that kit then and take it out and fix it!

Well just drove to the shops and when I came out took 2 turns to get going 😅 so might still need it sooner rather than later. I'll see how it goes for next few days. 2 turns is better than 20-30 that was before though!

Update: gave the contacts a good clean and seams to be starting on the button again 😃 not saying I won't need the fix kit but I'll see how it goes next few days 😉

So the next problem (in a long line of problems) is the car is having trouble starting. Just clicks then nothing. Goes after about 15-20 tries so thinking it's the solenoid. Without booting up rave where is the starter motor/solenoid? Hoping the contacts just need cleaned!

Mine turned out to be the injectors weren't tightened properly now only has a slight puff of smoke on hard acceleration which I think is the egr and associated parts as they are covered in crap.

Well done. I'll need to do mine now so I HAVE to get a bottle of whiskey because I mean that's the only bottle I can use right 😉

She's done it multiple times in position 1, I'm pretty sure she's also done it with the engine running so was in position 2. Hopefully someone else can check as I won't be home until tomorrow to check.

Can confirm it works with mine, daughter has done this a few times when I'm in the shop!
