hello, well hopefully yes. i had an air leak on the fuel filter, the thread had gone on the bleed screw. i re tapped it to M8,fitted a bigger bleed screw and the problem seems to have gone. for now. dont know if this is any help to you, if not good luck. regards. neil.

ok , the usual, 300 tdi EDC (jap import) discovery 1996 75K on the clock. a slight engine mis at (aprox) 1500 to 1750 rpm bit clears after that. on the road if i use kick down or go up hills the engine pulls strong till about 2750 RPM then it seems to feel like its got fuel starvation...

all you can do is ajust the pump timing, any other ajustments you make will be re ajusted by the ecu to keep things in its set parameters. this is the joy of running a 300tdi with edc , ordinary tdi, tweek pump and off you go but not a edc .

well whets the latest that happened?? with my discovery edc it also seems to miss when under load especially when towing up hills. I have done all the usual things like new fuel filter and checked and cleaned the sedamenter as well, even fitted a new lift pump but still the same.as regards the...

i have a 1996 300TDI jap import disco. it doesn't have an alarm so i thought i would fit one. can anyone tell me how to tap into the Central locking system to get it to work when i arm the alarm. do i have to fit a separate door solenoid to lock the doors. trouble is i cant seem to find a big...

as my 300 TDI is a jap import, i noticed it has a cat warning light on the dash. does that mean that the sender unit in the exhaust is linked to the ECU?. if so will it end up buggering up the fueling?. OR is it just a warning light on the dash? OR shall i cut it out and weld it into the new...
