thanks for the info yes that what has happened today dropped it off back to garage who reckons the changed the reserve piston and rebuilt box ,i think possible ecu control module or selector cable

Hi there can anyone help me !
I have just recently bought rr td6 auto and was having problems with the reserve gear not engaging put it in sometimes works and sometimes does not so took it to a & m gearboxes in chelmsford they said it was the piston which does the reserve gear was knackered got it back thursday and now doing the same thing ! Rung them and told them & now have to bring it back monday .
Anyone with any help on this issue will be most helpfull and seems to me it was not the gearbox in the first place sounds to me like electrical issue.
