    Battery change

And as for different battery codes, there used to be the old standards we used to know like 069, 072 etc, nowadays we are on EN european standards.

    Battery change

Batteries. AGM technology is the way forward. Calcium batteries need to be avoided. Albeit ok in a daily driver with low loads, if they are run below 12 volts for more than 12 hours then they tend to never recover properly. Unsure of your battery, a rough guide to it's effectivenes is to...

Orings and blend motors.... What method did you use

You are supposed to calibrate them but they do it themselves after so many ignition cycles, csan't remeber off the top of my head how many though. And yes, the correct tools always make the job easier.

Orings and blend motors.... What method did you use

When I did mine I used a Snap On anti cam out screwdriver bit on the end of a selection of quarter drive extensions and uj's with a little bit of valve grinding paste on the end of the screwdriver tip to add grip. (Old School garage tip) Make sure you have the bit in square and go for it. I...

    ebv function fault

It may be a wiring fault. It might be the code was never reset, it might be a faulty stat, especially if it was a spurious one rather than OEM. There is certain parts that are worth paying the premium. Saving twenty quid on a part is all well and good until it costs you an engine, or worse than...

    Front Differential/Transfer Case noise

Mine is doing exactly the same, it's the front diff. Take the front prop off, jack a front wheel off the ground and turn the diff pinion, you'll find it feels rough as toast and more than likely with some play in it. I'm just trying to find the time to change it.

    ebv function fault

No, fix your mapped thermostat. It means the elctric element has died, it uses this to open the thermostat further in adverse conditions, probably not too important in this weather umless you are towing but needs doing all the same.

    ebv function fault

Some cars with certain specs/coding combined with certain test equipment will come up with certain faults that can be safely ignored. If nothing is lit up on the dash and everything functions don't worry about it.
