Been to buy parts recently for my 1976 88" and was given a load of parts that do not fit the car! Turns out that based on my reg no. the computer said it was a diesel. Is there any checks i can do to find out what engine it would have had from the factory?

found this to start making my snorkle with and have been making an "A" bar for the front too from one i had donated mock fit with refurbed grille and light surrounds then a little paint any thoughts?

found a tidy little air filter at my local scrappy! fits where it should too

had a little play today after work. ended with me getting a couple of bits done.... fitted this then i refurbed this... and these and a couple of pics from yesterday almost got stuck lol

Is it worth fitting a snorkels to a 2.25 petrol series 3 before going off-road? And does anyone know what's needed to do so?

Well as I saw it, if the shows were hooked together at the top instead of just one side to the post, the slave cylinder would be pulled in all the way as opposed to just one piston being pulled in. The master cylinder will only displace enough fluid to push half the cylinder out on 4 drums...
