Big problem me thinks.Brother in law drove my P38 whilst I was on holiday.He says he puuled up at traffic lights and put the car in neutral ( dont know why) he then put it back inot drive but the car would only rev and not move.He than put it into park and got a horrible grinding noise which sounded like the gearbox.I have tried myself and yes this is what happens.You have to turn the engine off to stop the grinding.when you turn the engine over again ther grinding has stopped? Im stumped but think it is the gearbox.Any suggestions?

I am having trouble with the electricS on my P38.aLL the dash electrics have gone speedo/fuel gauge/temp/rev counter,also the stereo cuts out evry time the engine is turned of and the code ahd to be entered to use it again.A fuse had blown and changed it 3 times but continued to blow.Yesterday took of the dash/side panels to see if there was a short or loose connection but all is ok.Any advise would be greatly appreciated
