we had it for sale in order to buy a smart car.wife commutes 800klm /week.she wanted something that used less fuel
will keep freelander now.its proved its worth.
the kv6 that was in it ran well enough but had that typical top end rattle..
have to do an oil change this weekend though.

tell you the truth i was worried about break downs.no parts available in canada

since i have converted it to a td4 from a kv6 april 2015.wife drives 800klm per week.car has 170000klm on it.
#1 injector
turbo boost solenoid

had one oil pump bolt back off.it came out as far as the inside of sump pan and rattled around in there.sproket did not come off.

will be an id tag on left side of box.i believe only 4.6 v8 had the hp24 and 4.6 range

you will need the rear tail shaft and housing from your td5 hp22.you have to disassemble the 24 and put the 22 rear tail shaft and housing in it.use the front 24 clutches as well as one way clutch.ashcroft has pics of parts retained from 24 box.also need to keep 24 oil pump.oil pump is 15mm...

if it turns over and will not start it could be a crank shaft position sensor.
had two d2s let me down in this way.will start up after cooled down and run for a while and stop again.progressively gets worse and will not start at all.if it dies for no reason while driving and starts up 1/2 hour...
