Ignition switch at fault shown through testing and the corresponding pin on the connector for the ignition switch damaged / loose
-
Ah okay as that’s the next thing to test and if it’s not that then there’s a problem in one of the looms
-
Would a faulty ignition aux feed from the key barrel cause the problems I’ve got?
-
The relay doesn’t have an activation feed to it, so I’m not sure what to do other than replace the box or move the relay outboard, and run the activation feed from another relay or a switch.
Might just need to get someone to help find the problem to fix it.
-
I’ll check the relay and fuse again and see if it has a power feed and if not I’ll replace the fuse box and go from there
-
Would the aux relay drivers side stop power from coming from FL7 or not if it’s best I don’t try bouncing power to FL7?
-
Ah okay, is there a way to feed power to FL7 without replacing the fuse box?
-
FL7 is intact but can’t get a power reading from it not sure if I’ve checked it wrong or just no power to it, double checked if it was the fuse with another 30a one there and still nothing
-
Don’t have power to either of the radio fuses and there seems to be other systems not working like the wipers, I’ve been through every fuse and they are intact and had a meter across half of them and no power at all
-
Which relay is the aux relay?
-
It’s a 2003 facelift TD5 Series 2 Disco
-
Does anyone know where the ignition feed / switched live for the radio comes from as I have no radio the constant power feed is live, but nothing on the switched feed.
Thanks Llewellyn

For now I’m just putting the momentary switch in to crank it, until I’ve found more information and learned to be able to fully fit push start button.

Which one runs the starter so I can wire it in with out running in to a hold load of trial and error
