Its a Td5 53plt

My son who is away for a few days with my Disco approx 120 miles away. He thinks one of the Hardy Spicer joints is collapsing on the front prop. Would it be safe if he removed it and travelled on a motorway at 50 mph to get it home. thanks

My 03 Td5, heater is blowing hot air only no matter where the controls are positioned and the Air con is not working. Any suggestions what to check please. thanks.

Anyone know what the V1 and V2 adjusters do on the back the headlights? Dip and main vertical?? I got the lamp off by removing the so called 'male torx screw' adjusters, don't seem to do anything unless something missing hence the question above..... thanks

thanks, Thought of that, meaning then will have to scribe lines around the adjusters to ensure same position on refit. Sheared are the ones marked A on one lamp and B on the other and are Pozi head fasteners. Lucky with sides too, used a Molegrip to loosen...

Over the weekend one of my Dipped bulbs blew. So removed the grille on my Facelift Disco 2, tried to remove the screws holding the lamp assembly in situ. Success with side screw, but cannot remove the tops. Why oh Why did Land Rover use fasteners that corrode.!!!! Any tips besides...

Been looking for a pair of Anti-theft high foot Roof bars that fit the rain gutter. But all I've seen are the type that have a hand knob for clamping without any form of locking (anti-theft). My Disco has the front bars alongside the Sun roof, but fitting bars to these are not much good...
