Hi. It's a 95 Face-lift M47 model.

I replaced the MAP sensor. I noticed the probe wasn't a tight fit so added an additional ring seal that was trapped tight as the sensors was bolted into position. At last. No smoke or nasty smells of exhaust.

Our 96 Td4 has been a stinking vehicle for a few years, getting worse through time. I changed the turbo, filters, used top-range fuel, added Injector cleaning additives, etc. And all to no avail. Geez! My wife wouldn't let me open any windows, including the split sunroof as it allowed the stink...

I already have a master slave as I originally thought the problem was there. However, a puddle oil from the clutch housing proved otherwise. I'll keep the spare Master as that, a spare. I carry a substantial tool-kit and a box of spares. It will be added. Thanks for your thoughts.
