Hi,
I am planning a DIY fit-out of my Defender 110 for some travel and want to fit decent and reliable space and water heaters. Has anyone fitted eberspacher fuel-powered heaters that could share any tips/advice please?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I have a Defender 110, 300TDi which I bought in March 2006. It over heated 500 miles after buying it and so had the head skimmed, new gasket and it worked for another 1,000 miles until the head bolts shot out of the head, taking all the threads with them. So then I replaced the head...

I am wondering if it will be better to buy a new head... or is it...

There was tapping when I drove the remaining 1,000 kms which gradually got louder

I know that they re-used the old bolts which I understand should be replaced with the new head gasket. The mechanics had the spanner with the pressure and they did 60, 60 then 20 on only the thicker bolts

It's the same as the first photo

Hi!
I live in Chile and have bought my dream Land Rover Defender 110, 2006 on the 10th March.
All was going swimmingly and I decided to drive it back to where I live in the south of Chile, Puerto Natales, a journey of 2,000kms.
After approximately 1,000 kms the engine overheated and I switched...
