I bought 7 liters of this oil about 5 days ago £25 from Euro Car Parts, along with a Mann oil filter, Air filter and Fuel filter, Thought go out in a while and change the oil and do the filters as I have them sitting there. the old oil is very black and thin.

Do you happen to have a picture of what one looks like so i know what to look for? If i manage to find it and disconnect it what should i expect to happen? Do i drive it to test or just rev the engine to above 2000 rpm?

No I haven't tried that, I don't know what the MAF look like or where it is.

The Mechanics words were, I think your turbo has gone, rev the engine, oh I can hear the turbo now, lets do a service. From that point I lost confidence in that mechanic and found my way here.
