Hi, could any body give me a reason why the o/s/r cv joint keep popping out from the diff, it feels like the circlip is locating but after 20 miles or so it pops out again.:confused:

I had the same problem, fine under normal conditions but stick the caravan on the back and it would over heat, so i bit the bullet and went for the thermostat and water pump. Bingo !! water pump impeller was lose on the drive shaft. so new pump and stat and every thing is fine now, even gets...

It's something to do with putting the sulphur back in that the american oil companies take out to reduce the crap their prehistoric engines put out but the more advanced European engines require it .

Hi big Vin, so long as it is mineral and the higher the ash content the better but definately no more than 200:1 if in doubt put less in. simple equation how ever much fuel in Lts half it add a 0 and thats the amount of 2 stroke in ml required. eg. 40lts halved 20lts add 0 200ml. simples.:D

Hi can anyone give me any advice on rear diff mounts. Just about to change mine and was wondering if the after-market ones (Britpart etc) are any good or does it pay to get genuine Landrover?
