Just taken several hours to drain and change the gearbox oil , front anti-roll bar bushes and cure the rear diff oil leak by draining the oil , absolutely minging , and re-sealing with new instant gasket . It definitely seems smoother now and less suspension squeaks too .

Thanks for the tips gstuart , that sounds exactly like my problem ; too much cold air . I will look at the cables at the weekend when I finish for Xmas , hopefully this is the issue . :-)

Hi guys this is an odd problem , the heater works hurrah , but only really sends heat to my feet ,but colder air up to the vents and the screen at the same time . The controls move the air around on the different settings but not the heat . What could be causing this?? Thanks in advance .

Bought a new key from LR as my old one was very worn and the spare was bent . A huge £94 but at least I can start the Freelander as the old one would occasionally lock and not turn .

Hi all , I recently swapped the original Freelander radio cassette for a later LR CD radio . I have managed to connect everything up with a new lead from the BMW multi pin loom block to the new two block iso connectors . Sadly the steering wheel audio controls do not work with the new head unit...

I bought the bulbs and resistor from the same company hoping that they would all work together , but apparently not . time for some lateral thinking if its not going to be a waste of time and money .

Yes I believe that is why it needs to be changed ,as with the standard relay they flash very fast . Maybe I should give up and stick with the standard bulbs as I've also tried led brake \side bulbs and only the brake lights work . :-(

Hi Epicuser , I've fitted a 3 pin led relay , but nothing happens , ie no hazards nor indicators it just buzzed . Very disappointed to say the least .

My 2001 td4 is on 153500 , it's running well after a good clean out of the egr valve and a tonne of crud in the manifold was removed . Replacing the air filter ,never ever changer rear filter along with the turbo filters gave it the get up and go it was missing . A LOT less smoke when I need to...

Hi all , I'm trying to change my indicators to led bulbs , but the relay I bought was only 3 pin not 4 ; sadly this means nothing happens at all , no indicators nor hazard lights . Does anyonesell a 4 pin led relay so I can use my new bulbs ? Thanks in advance .
