Polsta, very good point you make. I like both models but the P38 has a classier more British appeal to it. I was just wanting to know what to look out for on either model. From what I can gather the gearbox is weak on the L322 and the engine on the P38? And of course the air suspension on both.

Is it the engine and box from the X5?

Bit of a dilemma... I have about £7.5 to spend on a Rangie, but do I go for L322 in average condition or a P38 in excellent condition? What are the Pros and Cons of each? Comments and thoughts welcomed please.. Thanks in advance

He is asking £6k, 90000 miles 4.4, trying to weigh up whether it's worth it... If its a £150 fix great, if it's a 2k fix still not too bad. But can I drive it home?

Thanks. The ad says torque converter, so I guess it must be. How much are the parts approx and what we talking in time to replace. I have a mate who owns a garage and I get cheap labour and supply my own parts. Cheers

Hi there eveyone, Newbie here after some advise. Looking for a L322, 2002 - I have found a cheap one but it needs a new torque converter and the radio doesn't work. Is the torque converter a big job? Thanks Rich
