Does welding outside effect the gas shroud to make it really ineffective? I hadn't even considered that :doh: Thanks another helpful tip ;) I guess most of mine will be done outside, guess gas or non gas option will enable me to do either ither depending on where I'm working; yep cool cheers...

I confess Ill have to google that and read up on it as I've never herd of it. Always willing to learn: like now I've learnt that that had I bought the steal instead of the Galv it would have been easier and cheaper to protect them :scratching_chin: :pound:
