A big thank you to Dopey for the how to and Wazzajnr for rescuing the pics.
I'm part way through the headliner replacement (Headlining out and hunting down leaks) and broke some trim clips that I wouldn't have broken had I seen this write up first - Doh!
At least It's solved the mystery of how...

The suspension is up and running now. I rebuilt the Valve block and pump and up she went. I was surprised that the air bags didn't need changing but they stayed up over several days.
The suspension goes up and down as it should and seems to settle at appropriate heights so why does it need...

Sounds like mine might be a different issue to the one you are describing. position 1 is a long way from Park/Drive.
I literally have to just push the button and push the selector forward with gentle pressure and it shows P correctly and the mirrors "undip" from the position they were in...

I tried but not sure it's a valid link. Can you or someone let me have a link to it please?

Hi all, I'm new to RRs and just acquired a P38.
As per the title, when the car is in park, it shows the LED indicator as being in Reverse and the car won't start.
If I push in the button on the gear selector and press forward the Park LED lights up and the car will start. Moving between the...

OK, so today I started to investigate the air suspension issue.
There is a receipt with the car for a pump in 2016 and this is borne out as being the replacement by the label on the outside of the "Dunlop" pump.
First off using the Beginners EAS guide I diagnosed that the thermal cutout in the...

As soon as it arrived I ordered a new battery. On the advice of a friend I went with a Hankook MF31-1000 - It's a big bugger (knife for scale)
Used EKA, turned the key and I thought, "what's that noise?" The bugger only started immediately. No churning or anything.
Been stood 2-3 years and...

Well, the beastie was delivered today
Ordered a new battery for it, removed some of the signwriting from the rear window...
Gave it a wash to remove the black mould and in the process found a few dings and dents but nothing really major.
Gave the inside a good clean as it was minging.
test...

The transport wasn't my problem TBH. I used Shiply (first time). It arrived safely this lunchtime along with my friend's Armstrong Siddeley.
I've ordered a mammoth battery and will have a go at getting it started tomorrow when it arrives if the key will play ball (see below).
I hooked up a...

It hasn't actually arrived yet. It's on a trailer over night and will land about 10.00am tomorrow.
Keep watching this space

I have a RR on its way to me as I type and I know it was parked up because the air suspension failed and the owner bought a set of steel springs but never fitted them but that's about as much as I do know. No idea why it failed so I'm suspecting air bag(s).
I will begin to investigate tomorrow...

Oh and it's in Vienna Green which I'm told is rare for a RR. Is that true?
