    Extreme condensation

I suspect it will be a few sources, check the carpets in the passenger footwells. You don’t need to drill a hole in the floor! I refuse to do that, despite the many suggestions of that as a solution!

    Extreme condensation

I've been going through this recently and am slowly making progress. So far I can offer the following ideas: a) the fuel filler neck is a source of water ingress, take off the rear drivers side interior boot trim panel and have a look there; it was pooling in a void, and then draining in to the...

    Freelander 1 Freelander 1 tyres

Cooper Weather Master WSC, just under £400 for a set of four - very good tyres in the dry and wet; that said I'd also go for Michelin, but with my 18" Sport alloys it would have over £600!

What have you done to your Freelander today

Finally got round to replacing the heating control bulbs. Way too much work required, but well worth it.

    FL1 Engine Breather Mod

Aha, this is useful to know as I did this recently as well as changing an injector and I've been surprised the puff of smoke on start-up was about the same as pre-replacing the injector. Thanks.

    Freelander 1 Engine RPM

Nope, they’re religiously maintained at 30psi all round!

    Freelander 1 Engine RPM

Thanks all, you learn something new every day.

    Freelander 1 Engine RPM

I thought that, but then I changed the injector at the start of December and it's just today I've seen a change. Does the ECU (or whatever it's called) control things like this?

    Freelander 1 Engine RPM

Assuming level ground etc. what should the expected engine rpm be for 70mph in 5th gear? I ask because previously my engine would run at just under 3000rpm, now it sits at just below 2750rpm at the same speed in same conditions. I have had an injector replaced last month and a new clutch a few...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Cooper Weather Master WSC; I did a fair bit of research and they were the most affordable yet still good quality tyres. Around £100/corner. I’ve been green laning in them a fair few times, nothing too ambitious, and they’ve not let me down. Remarkably good at holding pressure too.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Armed with a new clutch I decided to break free of the tarmac. It did well for a FL Sport.

Freelander 1 Rain Cover/Shower Curtain Availability

I've got both the soft top and rain cover sat in a storage unit and I doubt I'll ever use them, not new but they're both in good condition and I've not used them since I got my FL. I'll pop down and take some photos if you're interested.

    Other One thread wonders

There is indeed a vast amount of information available out there, however I very much use this place as my primary point of reference as basically I trust the views on here much more than elsewhere. I think also over time things change and what was considered correct or the right part then isn't...

    Other One thread wonders

It wouldn’t hurt to ‘like’ a helpful reply at least, but I find most of the threads posted on here educational and helps expand my knowledge of the Freelander, as limited as it currently is.

    Freelander 1 Headlamp bulbs

Thanks, have you had any experience with the LED replacements that claim to be canbus ready? They don’t seem to be a lot more money and seem a bit brighter than the current bulb.
