My TD5 110 suffered from lack of fuel and possibly over use of fuel additive which caused the tank sludge to loosen and get sucked up into the filter which did its job well. Until it was so clogged the engine started to struggle. It wouldn't go over a quite low rpm until one day it stopped...

Hi All, I am new on here and new to owning a defender 110 TD5. I am going through the pile of paperwork which came with my 52 plate and working on the process of 'if it moves, either tighten it or lubricate it, and if it doesn't I'll paint it' is that about right?
