That worked for me. Initial tap to the bolt heads first using a drift just to shock them a bit, then they cracked off no bother after that.

After much searching and head scratching about what springs to put on my disco, the only common theme that keeps comming back is to stick with genuine LR springs. Can anyone recomend a squealer or independant where I will get them at a good price? I still have the dilema as to which shockers...

Your pic doesnt show your motor being dropped by an inch mate. Dont go for 3" lift! It will be awfull to drive on the road. If you think your springs HAVE sagged, just buy quality replacement 2" springs. T

Thats exactly how learner drivers in UK have to be insured now. Same premium irrespective of what car (up to group 13).They are insured rather than the vehicle (which has to be insured normally). Prob paving the way for all insurance to be that way. Sounds ok to me. Bit like motor traders...
