There is a small amount of oil coming from the handbrake casing on my 300tdI Disco P regd.1996. 1.I would like to know whether it is possible to change the oil seal on the transmission box from within the handbrake casing. 2.Would I have to take the prop shaft off completely or is it possible...

Check the fuses I had a brake light down and did all the necessary to find it was a fuse located under the right hand panel at the side of ignition. They have a separate fuse for both sides. Its easy to check

I am wanting the green goddess to pull a caravan I would like to fit a grey socket to run the ancillaries anyone know of where I need to connect to that is convenient, any relays required.Also rust on back wheel arch inside the door is there anywhere that does metal repair bits or will I have...

I may have to replace the key ignition on my 1996 disco. Are there any problems with this, the manual says chisel round the shear bolts till they move ? Is this the best way.Also it is best to remove the steering wheel for access. Am I alright disconnecting the battery will it remove any memory...

Thanks yelladisco I tried to take it off and the bolts unthreaded easily but I felt that if had carried on the nuts would have dropped inside the panel its a 1996 would that be different to others? Think I ll just go for it anyway and see what happens thought it might be a common thing...

The spare wheel carrier on my disco is flaking and rusty I want to take it off to respray it or replace it. Do I have to take off the inside panel to get at the nuts or will they stay in place. Any assistance or jokes will be greatfuly received. Thanks Tony
