If you replace the steel plate that is riveted to the gearbox tunnel along with the auto selector and the complete CDL selector from the D2. It will all swap over to the D1.
You will however need to modify the level on the gearbox end for the gear selector.

It may be all above board however looking at the photo's the only thing that looks like it's from a 200TDi is the registration...

Even the TD5 stickers on the wings have just had the "5" removed...

Hi chaps, looking for a set of the 16" wheels that were originally supplied by Silverline but now under licence by twisted....
Searching on behalf of a customer for a second hand set as his budget does not stretch to a new set....
Looks like these.....

Are you after a 110 one or a 130 one? As they are different lengths

If it was an immobiliser issue I would expect the red led to still be lit on the dash when cranking.
Can you hear the fuel pump when you switch on the ignition?
Try the priming routine to see if it's a fuel related problem
-
No I haven't :( it came as a LHD defender one not a Series 3 RHD.
Can anyone help?

I love my Land Rovers but I also love my Audi's, I only have an interest in the pre 'A' Series Audi's and all of the ones I own are quattro except 1.
They have their place but nothing will substitute a good Land Rover...

No that is a wheel chock for when you jack up your vehicle to stop it rolling.

Several options to think about....
Option 1. If you build one from scratch what ID would you use? As to stick within the law and the rules of the DVLA you need to retain at least 8 points, details of this can be found on the Internet if you search for "inf26.pdf"
Option 2.
Choose in your mind...

No I still use it as a daily work horse and tow vehicle now...

Double check the oil level when cold, idling in neutral after you have held it in each gear for 5 seconds.
Check the both sides of the dipstick as sometimes it will give a false reading on one side of the stick as you pull it up the tube.

Had a play this afternoon with paint shop on the interior, this is the final choice.
This is reflect the colours in the engine bay.
I would also like to have teak deck floors like in the defender yaught edition
-
Yes it would not be my first choice, but it's cheap, harder wearing than trying to paint it. The cheapest I have found so far to leather a dash is £1000.
So could always go this route in a few years time if the flocking looks tired.
