    Suspect Defender on eBay

It may be all above board however looking at the photo's the only thing that looks like it's from a 200TDi is the registration... http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/191713706791 Even the TD5 stickers on the wings have just had the "5" removed...

Are you after a 110 one or a 130 one? As they are different lengths

    Cranking but not starting

If it was an immobiliser issue I would expect the red led to still be lit on the dash when cranking. Can you hear the fuel pump when you switch on the ignition? Try the priming routine to see if it's a fuel related problem

I love my Land Rovers but I also love my Audi's, I only have an interest in the pre 'A' Series Audi's and all of the ones I own are quattro except 1. They have their place but nothing will substitute a good Land Rover...

    ground up build

Several options to think about.... Option 1. If you build one from scratch what ID would you use? As to stick within the law and the rules of the DVLA you need to retain at least 8 points, details of this can be found on the Internet if you search for "inf26.pdf" Option 2. Choose in your mind...

    automatic gearbox problems

Double check the oil level when cold, idling in neutral after you have held it in each gear for 5 seconds. Check the both sides of the dipstick as sometimes it will give a false reading on one side of the stick as you pull it up the tube.

    Tonks4x4 Defender 6x6 Expedition Camper

Had a play this afternoon with paint shop on the interior, this is the final choice. This is reflect the colours in the engine bay. I would also like to have teak deck floors like in the defender yaught edition

    Tonks4x4 Defender 6x6 Expedition Camper

Yes it would not be my first choice, but it's cheap, harder wearing than trying to paint it. The cheapest I have found so far to leather a dash is £1000. So could always go this route in a few years time if the flocking looks tired.

    Tonks4x4 Defender 6x6 Expedition Camper

Hi chaps, sorry I am still here, this was always going to be a long drawn out thread as customers have to come first. I am fully booked up to June at the moment with rebuilds, chassis swaps and general service work so am finding it hard to do anything for myself :( But the bulkhead is now...

    Tonks4x4 Defender 6x6 Expedition Camper

Sorry chaps :( Again been busy with customers work. I could add loads of photo's but they are not Land Rover related so guessed no one on here would be interested... I have been waiting to get the bulkhead painted so that I can wire it up and at least be able to drive it in and out instead of...

Possible Earth fault causing Defender TD5 issues.

The earth I was talking about is under the seatbox. If you look backwards from the front output of your transfer box there are 2 ring terminals on the side of the transfer box next to the chassis rail held by an M8 flanged head bolt with a 10mm head.

Possible Earth fault causing Defender TD5 issues.

On the drivers side of the transfer box there is 2 main earths ring terminals. This would be my first guess. Remove, clean and refit.
