Only nearly had one mishap. Placed new injector into the port then went to make a brew.when I came back out I noticed something on the floor…(copper washer)…it must have fallen off the injector without me noticing Good job I saw it or I would have put everything back together not realising it...

Rough idle,engine shaking and bad fuel economy. Disconnected each injector in turn and the dodgy one made no difference when disconnected. Have now replaced said injector and cleaned out intake manifold and ports. All I can say is it’s now like driving a different car. First time attempting...

Can I just drop copper washer in the port before the injector or might it get stuck?

Thanks for the quick reply. Engine was hot when I started, this is wher I’m at. Nuts are off clamp and injector twists from side to side.will the clamp just lift out with the injector if I can get something underneath to pry it up?

Hi all. Have just removed the nuts from the thread on the injector clamp and noticed on the threaded posts the spline top is sheared off on one side. Do these need to be removed to get injector out or will come out with them still in place? Injector is twisting side to side but need to obviously...

Could you or any other members recommend anywhere for recon injector? Been looking on line at Pfjones… anyone recommend this guy?
