just found out more info, so will check for bad earth...i guess its the relay making the clicking noise but still not sure why...

Hi there, I got a m reg disco 300 tdi and a bastard of a problem with the headlights... sometimes, the drivers side is fine but the passangers side is on very low beam then sometimes i switche the headlights on and nothing works...and the high beam flickers...put it on high beam and flickering...

yep...i'm sold on sticking with the classic...i'll prob stick a single point lpg on her to sustain the economics and give her a proper service...one good thing is that there is no rust underneath and very little on the body itself (just a couple of spots on the bonnet etc)..will post some pics...

hmm...food for thought...i've read up on some of the 4.0 probs (though it seems not as troublesome as the 4.6) and my plan is to go to mongolia so the simpler the better i suppose...prob stick with the classic as i've read some horror stories about the 4.0 computers....

Hey all, I've managed to get my hands on 2 range rovers and wondering which to keep...first is a rr classic 3.5 efi 1988 and the other is a 4.0 se 1996 p38 with coil suspension...the chosen vehicle will be used for touring and offroading (about a 50/50 split) so in either case i will raise it...
