thanks for that... The car has a new battery and is charging fine - so there is no issues there. It tries to turn over when you start it but just does not have the power to turn itself over - and as it is doing this it sends out a hell of a black smoke signal!

I have a 2.5 DSE that has starting problems - any suggestions please! When it is hot the glow plug light does not come on the the its cranks like some old granny.. Tis horrible.. but after about 20 seconds it starts as usual and runs fine. Resently, in the last few days it is being a pain...
