Mine did the same thing and it was the copper contacts in the starter motor, replaced them and starts first time now. It's a difficult job getting the starter motor off though, top nut is 15mm i think, bottom two are 13mm from memory. Top one is dificult to get onto.

Thanks I'll bear that in mind, i'm hoping that it'll just be a case of drilling the hole directly above the hole in the support member where the bracket for the extended rail sits.

I had the same thing and replaced the front roll bar bushes, that sorted the problem. Fairly easy job to do too.

Hi I am just about to start the same project, any tips on fitting the rear seats? The front seats look relatively straight forward to do but would be interested to hear how you went about adapting the back seats to fit. Thanks Tom
