hello! I recently purchased a Discovery 200Tdi with a "reconditioned gold seal" engine in it. However, it seems to chuck out a load of blue/black smoke when I put my foot to the floor, is this normal? Total newbie to the Land Rover scene. Many thanks!

It's 100% the CV joints. Just checked with my mate and he didn't have time to fit the new ones before I picked it up.. Silly me. Regardless, thanks for the help fellas!

Cheers neilly, my good mate is a Land Rover specialist so I'll whip it into him. I'm handy with a set of spanners but I don't know where to start on a LR as yet. Cheers for the vid I'll have a gander

Cheers fellas. I assumed it was purely because it was jacked up and something wasn't aligned the way it should be as standard. Have to admit I am a total newbie to the LR scene!

hi all, my 94 200tdi makes a knocking/clunking noise when turning at low speed, parking etc. It has a 2" lift and off road suspension on it. Just wondering what it is. The motor in question is the one in my display picture. Many thanks.

Hello LandyZone! New here and to the whole Land Rover scene in fact. I picked up a 94 Discovery 200tdi over the weekend. It has a 3" lift and eibach springs I believe, recondition engine and has been been fully eradicated of the rust! Which was a major concern in buying a discovery for me but...

I went with tesco bank at first but saved £100 with diamond insurance, yearly premium of £750 I'm 26.
