Yep...they read the codes...I can't remember exactly the error code, but it translated to a sticking / buggered unit...

Don't know to be honest...my local garage has a provider who has re-con units that are 30% the price of new LR units, so taking a chance with one of those...

Fun times...this has turned into replacement of pretty much all front brake components and now needs the ABS pump replacing as well...any offers for a well-loved, slightly used kidney?

As of yesterday my handbrake, ABS and traction control lights are illuminated when the engine is started and I'm driving (note the TC light goes out after a couple of seconds when in position 2, but comes on again when the engine starts), car has been dry, used regularly and not got muddy...

Afternoon All... Very much enjoying my '03 110 SW I picked up a couple of months back, but getting some grief from the better half on the 2nd row seats...namely that they're not a safe as they could be for the kids (no headrests etc...which is a fair point...) Have been looking at Exmoor Trim...

Not an expert by any means so all advice welcome...the fridge is set-up to run off a 12v supply and I've run it through the cig lighter on another vehicle, jsut want to avoid running the cable from the front when using it. Not sure I've got any mates that I'd trust to advise on car electrics...

Thanks...picked up a Disklok based on hearing positive things, but beyond that currently standard alarm / immobiliser (which I hear has much in common with a chocolate fireguard), so any security recommendations welcome...
