turned out to be faulty plugs earthing to the body, made by britpart. i bought some goodens and they work fine

And this should be a picture of how i have wired them. As they are, they will work but as soon as a glow plug is screwed in, it earths the circuit

im not sure about these parallels because as soon as i took the resistor out so they would glow.... i burnt them out not long after! I supppose its not a hard job to test them very now and again and replace one if its gone!

I have tried lightly touching throttle and also wide open, neither seem to change it. What do you do with yours when you start it?

Could do with a bit of help! When I got it, I started it with a flame in the inlet manifold to drive it into my workshop.After a new radiator, water pump and glow plugs it still wont start up without the flame. Even then its hit n miss if it'll fire! Glowplugs are parallel type which are...
