The front seems equally out as the rear maybe suggeting a body alignnent issue? How much scope for movement or adjustment am I likely to find. Looking at probably 1.5cm which maybe more than I would be able to adjust I would imagine?

Well I have put it on my ramp at work and all appears fine but when putting a straight edge along wheel to body it would appear the body appears misaligned ie over to the n/s front and back. Is there much scope for adjustment?
Cheers.

I was looking at it thinking the same, will also save some weight. Will also remove the step and jump seats.
It came with a winch bumper which I think I will remove also....worryingly I am removing all the items I bought it for!!:rolleyes:

I agree completely. What I needed was to know the basic theory so I can judge a starting point. :)
Thanks again.

Thoroughly read 300bhp/tons explanation which makes perfect sense in all he says,so on the back of this I have chosen to go the standard suspension route and adapt from there if needed. Plus some off set mods to give it in my opinion a nicer look.
She needs a bit of tlc but will come up nice...

Yes it was converted from sls but I don't understand why people have to assume hd is the way to go. As 300 said it's understanding suspension which the p.o. clearly didn't.
I understand the leverage point will be different regarding the spacers but is it going to cause issues in good bearings...

Plus it's my daily driver so has to be somewhat plush.

Ok good question. Well I want to run 265x75 r16 tyres with 30mm spacers to get the look I am after, with this I assume the tyres will rub on arches etc when off road?

Thanks for the reply. The question was basically to gauge other opinions as being my first landy looking to raise suspension is new to me and alien having come from a tin top background:) as an example terrafirmas website offers good advice about spring rate etc but want an actual owner feedback...

Hi. The disco I have has unmatched springs causing a few handling issues so want rid( hd rears and standard front it would seem)
Looking for a good well priced 2inch lift but will be using on amainly road with some green laining so must not be teeth rattling like what I have now,can I get away...

If it is out aginst both the body and chassis it would suggest a axle alignment issue? The zig zag bars centering the diff ever cause issues?the arms them selves and all suspension components look ok. The only thing it has had is a n/s/r stub axle as the bolts were loose on a previous mot are...

Just measure and the whole axle appears to be 1.5cm over to the n/s. That's against the body and chassis for the measurement.

Standard wheels,no spacers and hopefully no previous lamp post hugging!

Hi.
First of many questions. ;)
When viewed from the front my disco 2 td5 appears to have the passenger side rear wheel protruding around an inch or a little less than the drivers side. It's had the ace delete, appears to have been raised 2inch but do not know for definate. Any ideas or am I...
