Pull the heater controll knobs off and remove two screws that hold the front on, remove the front and check the bulb, they are about 20p each

Hi, Thanks for the reply's, ran into an old mate who is a Landrover mechanic, he said all you need to do is take the expansion cap off, take the rad plug out, fill the rad put the plug back and run the engine at 3000 rpm for a minute until hot then put tank cap back on, heater now hot...

Just changed the water pump on my M Reg disco 300 tdi now can't get the air lock out of the system, anyone know the best way. thanks.

Thanks for that, bulbs ok fuse ok, so either the switch or wireing at fault, will have a look 2morrow

Cost me about £25. not a bad job to do, it tells how in the haynes book,

Had the same thing on my disco 300, it was the swivel bearings, replaced them and seals, now all ok.

Took the Disco 300 tdi for test today, it passed ok with one advisory, bushes on the rear tie bar / rod deterioated but not resulting in excessive movement.

Renewed the swivel bearings and seals today, not a bad job, the old ones had completley gone took about 3 hrs. m. reg. 300 tdi.

Sorted, the bulb had gone, put a new one in, ticking stopped and lights ok. thanks for the advice.

Ok thanks, will have a look and check them, just noticed the r/h side dipped beam has gone out but works on full beam and flickering stops.

Got a problem with the lights, there is a ticking noise coming from behind the glove box on the passenger side and the l/s front light is flickering, any ideas ? Its a 1994 300 tdi
