No, we bought car with No propshaft although we now have one to go on car, I have removed front offside drive shaft but not the inner cup yet

Freelander 06 plate, had a grating nois from offside front drive shaft, turned out to be inner joint but not, the cup the cv sits in, (now driveshaft is out) wafts all over the place, if I pull the cup out of the IRD, will I find a broken bearing behind it or am I looking at something nasty? Not...
