Disco I have access to unfortunately had equally shattered plastic, anyone got any scrap locks with the plastic tabs intact??

May have access to a disco 1 so will see what I can salvage, more wondering if anyone knew if a repair kit existed? Really beginning to hate how many bits are unique to a soft dash.........

Update folks as managed to get access to a bit more equipment, alternator is as I thought good, the battery is good (drop test etc done on it) Moved the new chassis to -ve battery terminal earth over to one of the engine earths and this seems to be making a marked improvement, also cleaned up...

Yep been down the routes listed above, first upgraded to crystal reflectors then later added the night breaker bulbs. Made a big improvement but still felt they were lacking, often drive up the A9 in Scotland with a caravan in the twilight/dark and with the upgrades to the A9 the opposite lanes...

Cheers for that, think it may be an earth/power issue as it is a new switch and I have fitted them before so know the set up, all brake lights etc working so probably a bad earth, anyhoo it is off for a pre mot once over so hopefully sorted soon
