Yep, so you remove the oxidisation, but what is oxydised is the clear coat, or paint. You remove tiny amounts each time you do it but eventually it is possible to be killing it with kindness. If you don't have oxydisation, use simple wax type polish.

My 15mm pipe bender doesn't do tight bends, only similar to the one in the picture that's why I thought 10mm pipe would be better,
My brake pipe bender does 10mm so pipe should be hidden under the radiator, I'll paint the exposed pipe to match...
Not sure what that valve is there for, temp fitting? while work being done?
Personally I would just take it back to the trunking and go from there neatly with 15mm. but then I have a nice pipe bender that could get from the trunking to the rad...

So had to take the padlock off with bolt cutters.
