Interesting I put some rotten grapes out for the birdies. Naturally Mr and Mrs Rat wanted to get in the act. Then I noticed a young rat also making three what I can see. Now the fun part was a pigeon reaction normally was to move around or away...

Thanks for the patience with this lad Stan, much appreciated. :) Having tried BPE5 plugs to no avail (except the introduction of pre-ignition) I did a few things. 1. I put the BPE6 plugs (cleaned up with a gas torch) back in. 2. I popped the...

I have an update on my 2007 Rangerover sport 2.7 diesel. I stripped down the top of the engine and replaced all four camshafts from a donor engine that had cracked its crankshaft. Comparing my camshafts with the donor camshafts I found that...

I haven't used the Small Claims Track for a while now, but it costs £100 to start the proceedings. OK, if you win you get it back.... I think the company sounded a bit inexperienced but nevertheless polite and offering a free one really was...

Meh...sorry but you sound like a nightmare customer. Fair enough initial lack of communication is poor but tell me if I've got this right. On the 21st you were told delivery due on the 24th or you'd receive a refund. The day after the 24th you...

Hello, Jake here - Ashley, you're right, I didn't respond very quickly but I thought I'd share the conversation at it seems a little miss represented here. (of course confidential details hidden)

I prefer the kiln-dried Ash or Oak, but last year I took a job-lot of 2xM3 "various" from some local lads and their start-up business and it was mainly pine. It all burnt though and no harm seems to have been done.

I have no insewerants to check with. I ceased that scam about 15 years ago. However, now that I am becoming old, frail etc. etc. I may give it another go. :D

Part of what we have been doing is disposing of fruit trees that I took down a while back. We have been burning those and W likes to take all the twigs off for kindling and the next size up for the next stage before we put logs on. It works well...

I suppose that if you try and recut the thread wiv a die it just goes round and round? Maybe you could clamp the tie-rod and ball joint to stop this? I fink your way may be better, unless it starts to go round and round as you use the saw. Best...

How big were the buckets 🤔 . But then we usually get about 2/3rd to 1/2 of bucket every year. Think the bucket is about the size of a 25l paint can, its a Karcher thing so the hoover does the work and it drops in the can. But then we do burn...
