Right, massive thanks to ukadamwest.
After a short road trip and compressor service kit, I am back on the road again.
Another replacement unit secured from elsewhere on Forum too at great price. Today has turned out pretty good in the end.
Thanks all :)

My Snap On Box can read mine. Had to reset EAS on my P38 few weeks back after air leak put it into limp mode. But Obviously LR Diagnostics would be preferable..
In East Sussex if anyone ever needs it..

Oh right, how much and where in surrey? This could be ideal..
would you be interested in 'renting out' your spare for a week?
PM'd you.

Thanks for the heads up :)

Oh right, No worries. Kurt has messaged me back, he has a new one, so I'll hopefully lay my hands on that one :)

Whereabouts are you? I will be travelling to Bournemouth Via Biggin Hill then M3 tomorrow?

Yep understood, I meant no offense.
Was thinking about the brass fittings that are on compressor is all. Won't be able to get the speed coupling type bits to fit to air pipes today, but could maybe rob a valve from a tyre or something and solder (or whatever) into compressor fitting..
-
Yeah, I've seen those but I won't get one bought and installed by Monday morning. I could however get a valve and try to install in pipe today. Just don't know if it would be a waste of time..
I'm figuring that you may only be able to fill tank when EAS is actually calling for air?
What I...

Hi,
Does anyone know (or has tried) if you can fit a Schrader valve to the EAS compressor pipe as a temp fix for failed compressor? Need to get to Bournemouth on Monday for work.. Car is full of materials and equip to do the job, so has to get there or there'll be blokes standing around...
-
Hi, compressor has failed on my P38 and I need to drive to Bournmouth on Monday. Happy to buy one borrow one. I have a piston kit, so it doesn't matter if that bit is knackered. Just need electrical side to be good. Happy to drive 50 miles to collect.

I'm in Uckfield. Green Laning sounds good to me too if I can just get P38 to not break down for 5 mins ;)
