I'm guessing theres not much you can do with the bcu I have had it out and all looks clean and dry circuit board looks healthy no signs of water even though I can't actually get it out of the plastic casing itself, I have noticed people tend to just get a new or second hand BCU I'm guessing...
It gets worse, all the wiring is sat flooded all along I'm not sure were its come from, one of the drains blocked mabey, any suggestions wood be appreciated also is it true that the sunroofs are prone to this happening?
I managed to get to the Bcu the owner before me obviously wasnt very hygienic as found some kind of mouldy sticky substance all in the wiring but on plus side two pound coins.
Yes I was reading somebody else's forum who had similar problem and said this but I was hoping somebody could confirm it as I'm not sure and didnt want to take it from just one persons comment
I'm abit in over my head I think, it was my brother who said he thinks the oil has deipped onto the belt but I'm not sure were to start on finding the leak it needs to be on a ramp realy to investigate and would I be looking at a new alternator
