Hi all ,
I am wanting to change the glow plugs in my 1985 110 CSW 2.5 n/a , as the ones in it at the moment need 30 secs of heat sometimes needing to do it twice before it will fire , but I want to know what plugs I should use.
Book says Champion CH 63 ... but some sites say use NGK Y-208T...

So although it says commercial on the tyre it's not a problem. As long as its a 750 16 tyre with the correct weight at 112 .
Thanks again for the help

I have a 1985 Land rover 110 Diesel CSW and need to change the front tyres . I have deestone 750 16 on at the moment
Can I use a BF Goodrich commercial LT m+s 7.50/16 112/107Q ?
Or would a Dunlop SP-TG Major 7.50 16c 8pr 112/110L be a better tyre ?
The other choice is a Security 750 16...

Well I got a call just before they closed ... The diagnostic machine for Land rovers didn't pick up anything until they tried to look at the gearbox ..... and it crashed the computer ....TWICE ... LOL
So they couldn't say for sure that there isn't a electronic problem.
But they have agreed...

The garage says they have never seen a gear box electronic fault where all drive is lost

Thanks Datatek .. thats my thoughts on the garage also .... And thats before it has even been near the diagnostic computer !!!!!!
I have been looking though all sorts and found a post that says it could be the selector pin ? ...
Any thoughts on that ?

Has a good battery on it for a diesel ...
The garage has now said the gear box is knackered .... OMFG
How does a range go from running well doing a 150 mile run on mountains and motorways .... then after a dead battery ... The gearbox is Knackered ???
Can this be right ???
