Ahhhhhh brill,I don’t mind getting my hands dirty,would that particular one fit my car and would taking the turbo apart be fairly easy,you have been really helpful,thanks again for you time and advice

So if I was to get another turbo that would “fix” the smoking issue,I was thinking the whole lump was going to need changing

After starting without the EGR

I undid one end and it didn’t make any difference,so I’ve removed the EGR and started it,oil is coming from the solid metal pipe,I’ve included some pics

Thanks for helping,Is this the pipe to remove from the EGR valve or the smaller pipe with metal braid

Thanks for the response,I’ve uploaded a video to YouTube and the link is ,it’s a freelander TD4 on a 02 plate,it smokes like that all the time,even worse when you rev the engine,it’s fairly noisy as well,thanks for the help

Hi,I’m not sure on the posting etiquette of the forum,I have a Freelander that’s smoking really bad all the time,am I alright posting a video of the problem to see if anybody can shed some light,thanks for taking the time to read this
