Hi forum, I have a Freelander 2 57 plate. The intermittent wiper position does not seem to work.
Only when I adjust the rotary switch to alter wiper time period do the wipers do one wipe, then nowt! All other wiper operation are fine. Is this a stalk problem or have the LR design engineers in their wisdom use the ECU brain power to generate the intermittent timing function. Any clues, something to chase in the garage when the inlaws arrive on Boxing Day.... LOL. SPIKE

Hi, I have search the forum for an answer to my TD4 problem, but have not found a match. After 10 years loyal service and 80k miles, my TD4 has started playing up. It will not start from cold sometimes or will start fine and run fine. Travel a local trip and will not start after a short stop. All pumps make noises and prime. The only fix, every time is to hit the fuel filter and pump area with a rubber hammer! This clears the fault and engine starts every time. Is this a known electro mechanical fault in this area? she's a 2001 TD4 with fuel pump and filter in engine bay, RHS. All advice welcome. Cheers Spike:doh:
