When i bought my landy 4 yrs ago it had already been remapped and anytime i plugged in the nanocom i coukd see it it usually said twisted now it went in to a landy specialist to get bits done itd been away a while as they seemed to find 1 thing after the other eventually i got a £2400 bill ...

landrover td5 es 2001 , car was serviced some weeks ago got some advice on here after it just stopped running changed a whole load of things crank shaft position sensor , wiring loom / harness fuel filter just to name a few , had 3 mechanics come have a look all 3 suggested it was a fuel...

on my way to get a air bleed none return valve replacment

just changed the loom not a bit of oil and its still not going , advised it could be crank shaft poisition sensor any ideas

so after a service the car was running lumpy , mechanic advised to put in a bottle forte cleaner done that still the same , wondered if it was too low on fuel so put another £50 diesel in got it home it just died, advised on here to change the fuel filter , done that problem solved went a drive...

thanks for replying , im at a loss went through everything replaced the fuel filter again , worked fine took it a drive and it stopped again , the only thing i can think of now through reading on here is replacing the injector harness that should be here tomorrow

landrover discovery 2 td5 , defender engine , diesel , i just changed the fuel filter , seemed to work fine took it for a drive round the block it became lumpy again and as soon as i got to the house it just cut out

even though i have the reciept and details of the new engine

so last weekend landy got a service , replaced fuel filter oil filter air filter & oil car running smooth , til friday seemed a bit slow so i accelerated a little and it chugged i was literally a street away from home to just took it easy til i got there , had a look on here and google but...

exactly , and i have all the paperwork for the new engine and every mot complete history and every receipt for everything down to bulbs

so the strange mileage up to 275000 miles is fine now it was km just pressed the button for 20 seconds and its went back to normal , but my next question about correcting the mileage was about the new engine that was put in the car in 2015 , new engine 58000 miles put in 2015 car showed...
