hi folks is there anyone on wearside handy with a spanner ? i have a disco 1 with a clutch that refuses to bleed .had new slave and master on ,the bloke doing it for me has tried everything from easy bleed to prayers but no joy

hi folks , got a D1 300 tdi . the clutch pedal hit floor while changing down ,. its had a new slave and rubbers in the master . fluid flows to the slave ok but the pedal doesnt return or build presure

The woe for this week:::::when the hand brake is released the headlights dim then are noticeably brighter when applied. has anyone came across this before ? thanks in advance for any info or advice

just had a look and the sepentine belt is the only one broken .

hi folks . well the effing thing has decided to stop again . after replacing the water pump last week .in the process removing the pulley wheel .i now relise the bolts needed locktite on as two have came out , this has jammed the wheel and shredded the belt . does this auxillary belt affect...

yes the abs light comes on with egnition and goes out once started

Oops, its a 96, 300 tdi .I've had it five months and to date its had a head gasket, alternator, water pump , I'm going to do the silks shortly for not. Now abs bother but its my first disco any its a labour of love. Even if I do get a little anxious wondering wots going to go next .ha great...

i was going no more than 10 mph ,dry road .the pedal actually backed off braking .??:confused:

hi folks. while stopping at a tee junction the abs decided to kick in and gave me a close shave with other traffic. the brake peddle stiffened and a grinding feeling . scared the life out of me. any ideas what caused this ? thanks in advance for any input.

Hi all, my disco 1 will be needing inner wings and silks for its next mot . I work in a fab shop and could probably get them made up ( free steel ) . Is there anywhere I could get the dimensions for them . Thanks in advance for any feedback
