Thanks again all.. fuel pump sounds a bit rattly. Noticed whilst pumping tyres up.. need to plug this OBD2 thing in when I can locate where to plug it in LOL
-
That makes some sense.. would that be the whining noise I can hear occasionally from the O/S/R ?
-
Bizarrely, been out today and no warning light? Ah well perhaps ROY just didnt like the cold.. Still got the OBD2 reader on order as seems like a worthwhile investment anyway...
-
Thanks Alex1000 and tlo.. One ordered as suggested
-
Thanks for that.. much appreciated
-
Thanks.. like that you said 'little faults' just need to find a reliable garage in Milton Keynes now
-
Starts fine, drives fine, no smoke I can see other than on start up from cold.. Appreciate easiest way is to get it plugged into a Diagnostic Machine, but wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar all, 2005 TD4 74,000 on the clock and FSH

The click can be heard from each sensor if you put your ear to it, but only when the ignition is at position 2 as in engine off and reverse selected. If no clicking then the sensor is not working..
-
Oh and no re front sensors...
-
None of them appear to be making a clicking sound. Will have to check them all for dirt etc and go from there...Thanks
-
Hahahaha.... no. Select reverse and one long beeeeeeeeep and nothing else?
-
Think I may know the answer to this already but jusy in case it may be simpler than that.
When I select reverse there is a long beep, light flashes on the button and then stops... Can't hear ticking noise from any of them?
Nothing else happens 55 plate, Td4

Taken back to garage/dealer to fix

They just don't park.. stop wherever they are on the screen when you turn them off on intermittent, normal and fast. You can park them by tapping the stalk down though, but not ideal..
