HELP PLEASE 😂
I am no mechanic so took the 110 to a garage to have the pinion seal replaced on a salisbury axle & found the original flange is scored.
I provided the new kit but for some reason the diff wont turn with the new flange on but does with the old one - the new superceded ones do...

Seeing some awesome Landies with Halo Led headlights, decided i'd have a nose but most threads are a bit old and yet again end up more confused than when i started.
Found price varies massively - some very cheap ones on Bearmach, some a few hundred quid a piece - are they now legal to use & if...

Someone pointed out that my defender front end shouldnt be noticeably lower than the rear, checked the coil springs and look like they've seen better days. Was thinking about a 2inch lift (as apparently i dont need to change anything else apart from spring / shock) but i've also read that this...

Massively useful info! I'm hoping to keep my classic steels & spend <£150 a tyre... Would the 255 fit the same rim as a 235?
-
Yeah I agree - looks alright & my gf would love it. Not my cup of tea though!

Morning all, looking for some expert advice again!
I'm currently running 235 85 16 General Grabbers. Great on road / gravel but they are not grippy in mud - i've been looking at some Cooper Discoverer STT pro's in the same size but what I want to go a little beefer on the same rims? Is this...

Thanks mate, worth a shot just ordered it - will give it a go & let you know how it turns out!

Appears to be from when it's parked outside i replaced the rear door but noticed there's a puddle in the sill on the inside which I assume is running down when it over flows. No obvious route in so wondered of this is one of those Defender quirks?

Evening all - hope you're all feeling christmassy.
I insulated & carpeted the back of the Landy with some home made benches a few months back but realised quickly after that i've got a considerable leak coming from somewhere up high at the rear that's ruined it already (havent ruled out it...

Looks like i'm also going to have to try the gaffer tape - mini heart attack everytime it pops open!
-
Thanks for the advice all, found the plastic bit they fit on to - turns out there was another one that had unplugged itself as well! Much appreciated.

I was as shocked as you mate, maybe the chap I spoke to was a landy driver himself & realised i'm getting charged far too much already!!
