Help. Need to fit a new offside track rod end to a 1995 300tdi Discovery. Been online to order one and!!!....do I need LH thread or RH thread. Would like to get ordered tonight, so is there anyone out there who can please advise me. If not will have to ring supplier in the morning.

For anyone who has a similar problem, I did eventually trace the problem to the sensor pickup on the side of the transfer box. The two parts of the plastic sensor housing had seperated slightly allowing an ingress of water when driving through puddles. Hence the erratic nature of the problem.

I have a discovery 300tdi 1995. Have plated the EGR point on the manifold and want to totaly remove the EGR unit. I am told I can replace the the intercooler to manifold hose with one from a 200tdi and get rid of the EGR metalwork. Can anyone confirm this please!!!

Got a 1995 300tdi auto. Been getting a bit sluggish lately. Just fitted a EGR blanking plate. Easy to do and what a difference. Best half hour I've spent working on the beast for a long time. Cheers Bill

Have a 1995 300TDI auto. Speedo reads find most of the time but occasionally goes very erratic. Revs stay constant but speedo flicks up then down to the right speed. Erratic then fine then erratic again. Have checked connections both ends of wire all appears fitted correctly, no loose bits...
